Tree Surgery
and Tree Felling
Tree
Surgery is the treatment and management of individual
trees that require precise application of arboricultural
techniques in order to achieve a desired outcome.
There
can be various reasons for this. It may be that
Tree Surgery is required in order to reduce the
risk that could be posed by “hazardous trees”,
or perhaps to enhance light levels to residential
properties.
Nicholsons employs a wide variety of specialist
tree surgeons who are all qualified in various
techniques to NPTC certificated levels. We are
able to offer a service tailored to the challenges
posed by each individual tree, whether that involves
a shaping pruning, or extends right the way through
to complete felling, perhaps because the tree
is sited beside a busy main road.
We
are able to organise power shutdowns where trees
interfere with electricity cables and can also
manage road closures and traffic lights to assist
with trees in awkward situations.
The leftover stump can also represent an additional
problem, but this can be dealt with using our
stump grinding service, leaving a level piece
of ground following a tree removal.
