About Nicholsons Forestry

Founded just over 30 years ago, Nicholsons is a well-established family firm renowned for growing quality plants and offering excellent service.

Nicholsons has an experienced and highly qualified team of professional foresters who cover all aspects of woodland management including: project planning and design, fencing, planting, maintenance (weed control), thinning, felling and arboriculture.

This professional service is backed up by highly experienced support and maintenance teams who carry out all forestry work as required.

There are two other divisions within the Nicholsons group:

		Our 22 acre plant nursery is located in the Oxfordshire village of North Aston. We grow over 55,000 trees and hedging plants annually, as well as shrubs and garden plants. In addition we can also call upon a network of specialist horticulturalists to supply us with a broad range of less common and specialised varieties and species. If any plant is not listed please ask us and we may be able to procure it for you.
		Nicholsons Landscaping division employs four full-time garden designers/landscape architects who offer a professional and creative planning service. Backed up by our experienced and highly qualified team of installation and maintenance engineers, we can undertake projects that range in scope from parks and stately homes to modest private gardens. Once a project is complete, Nicholsons can also offer a comprehensive maintenance service. Although much of our designs are for private individuals, we also accept commercial contracts where a high standard of finish is desired.
